Ferrari Pasadena is delighted to bring to market this unique 550 Maranello with special ownership history that sets it apart from all the rest. When it debuted in 1996, the 550 Maranello marked Ferrari’s return to the front-engine V12 grand tourer, carrying on the tradition of the legendary 365 GTB/4 Daytona. Under the long hood is a 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing about 478 hp and 419 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed gated manual transaxle. That was the only transmission Ferrari offered on the 550, which makes every example a true three-pedal V12 Ferrari. Performance is still impressive today: 0 60 mph in about 4.2 seconds and a top speed near 199 mph. Double-wishbone suspension at all four corners, adjustable Normal and Sport damping, and switchable traction control give the car a rare balance of comfort and capability. It is as happy on a long highway drive as it is on a winding road. Pininfarina’s design has aged beautifully, with classic long-hood proportions, aluminum body panels, and a clean, muscular profile that avoids the excess of many cars from its era. Inside, the Connolly leather cabin offers real comfort and practical luggage space, making the car a genuine grand tourer. With naturally aspirated V12 engines and manual gearboxes no longer being built, the 550 Maranello is increasingly valued as one of the last analog flagship Ferraris. This is an opportunity to own a modern classic that delivers the full Ferrari experience every time you drive it. What makes this particular example truly special is that it was originally owned by the critically acclaimed producer, director, and actor, Sydney Pollack. It remained under his care until his death in 2008, at which point it passed to his family and stayed under their care until 2026. The car is sorted with several recent services and updates. A belt service was performed in July 2025, at which time a coolant hose and the battery, thermostat, valve cover gaskets, camshaft seals, and spark plugs were replaced. The passenger’s seat belt was replaced and the air conditioning system was recharged in April 2026. The parcel shelf and driver’s door panel were repaired in June 2026 and the sunvisors reupholstered in August 2026. 5.5-Liter F133A V12 Six-Speed Manual Transaxle Limited-Slip Differential Nero DS Paint Nero Connolly Leather Upholstery 18 Speedline Wheels Central Hood Scoop Power-Adjustable Bucket Seats Gated Shifter Remote CD Changer Automatic Climate Control Clean Carfax Report
