It was the first Ferrari since the F40 to utilize a twin-turbo V8 engine. The California T was an evolution of the California in terms of styling and the most notable changes were to the exterior body. Rounded edges on the previous California were given a more angular look on the California T. Traditional horizontal exhaust pipes replaced the stacked exhaust pipes that came on the original California. The new engine, while smaller in displacement than the previous 4.3L V8, produces considerably more horsepower thanks to the twin turbochargers. It is rated at 553 horsepower and 557 Foot-Pounds of Torque. 0-60 mph takes as little as 3.3 seconds and the car carries a top speed of 196 mph.
